Terms of use

1. Provider

travelguide195 is operated by DAI-KOMIO e.K., owner Marcus Schmidt, Lindenberger Ring 14, 16356 Ahrensfelde, Germany (see Legal Notice).

2. User account

You need a free account to post reviews and photos and to save routes. The information you provide must be truthful; an account is personal and not transferable. Keep your password secret. You can delete your account yourself at any time under “My account.” Only the username you choose is shown publicly; it must not contain other people’s names, trademarks, or offensive terms. After your account is deleted, your reviews and photos remain visible without your name as “Deleted member”; you can delete individual posts yourself beforehand or have them removed later by writing to info@travelguide195.com.

3. Reviews and comments

Reviews should be based on your own experience and be factual. In particular, the following are not allowed: false statements of fact, insults, hate speech, advertising or favor reviews, reviews of your own or competing businesses, personal data of third parties, and links or content that violate the law.

4. Photos

Only upload photos you have taken yourself. Identifiable people may only be shown with their consent; license plates and faces of bystanders should not be in the foreground. Photos are automatically resized and stored without metadata (e.g., GPS location).

5. Rights to your contributions

You retain the rights to your texts and photos. You grant DAI-KOMIO e.K. a simple (non-exclusive), royalty-free right, unlimited in time and territory, to display and store them on travelguide195 (including associated apps and previews in social media and search engines) and to technically adapt them for this purpose (e.g., size, format, cropping). This right ends when a contribution is deleted; if your account is deleted, it continues for the then anonymous contributions. Technically necessary copies (caches, backups) are removed within a reasonable period.

6. Review and removal

Contributions are reviewed before publication and only shown publicly after approval. We may reject, shorten, or remove contributions that violate these terms or applicable law, and may suspend an account in the event of repeated violations. You can report illegal content at any time to info@travelguide195.com.

7. “Helpful” votes

Each account (or, without logging in, each internet connection) can mark a contribution as helpful once. Any manipulation is prohibited.

8. Trip planner and tours

Plans and tours are compiled automatically from the places in the travel guide. Travel times are estimated from distance; we cannot guarantee opening hours, prices, accessibility, or safety on site – please check before your visit. The number of plans per user is limited.

9. Liability

We compile our content with care but do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete, or up to date. The respective authors are responsible for user contributions. The operators of linked websites are responsible for their content. Liability for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected.

10. Changes

We may amend these terms if the website or the legal situation changes. We will inform registered users of material changes in good time. German law applies. Last updated: November 2026.
