About Computerspielemuseum
The Computer Games Museum in Berlin is considered the world's first permanent exhibition on digital interactive entertainment culture. After opening in 1997, it moved in 2011 to the former Café Warschau on Karl-Marx-Allee, where it now presents a new permanent exhibition. The focus is on people at play in the digital world. You can marvel at one of the largest collections of entertainment software and hardware in Europe, which includes around thirty thousand original storage media, twelve thousand trade magazines, and one hundred twenty historic home computers and console systems. The collection is complemented by arcade machines, media art objects, and various documents such as videos and posters. In addition to the permanent show, the museum regularly hosts special exhibitions that examine video games from artistic and historical perspectives. As a member of the International Council of Museums and a recipient of the German Computer Games Award, the museum has made a name for itself internationally.

Exhibition of digital interactive entertainment culture. You can actually play almost all of the exhibits making it a more "hands on" museum than most.
